WS Field Hockey Program Philosophy

Optional Summer 2023 Workouts
Green Days (Stick work) on the Grass field (July 10, 12, 17, 19)
Yellow Day (Conditioning only) in the weight room (July 24 & 26)
***You MUST do the following in order to participate in optional summer workouts:

1. Email Mr. Worrell (cworrell@fcps.edu) your completed VHSL Physical (must be dated after May 1, 2023)
2. Register here:  https://westspringfield-ar.rschooltoday.com/
3. Email Coach Nham (tnham@fcps.edu) your Emergency Care Form or bring it with you to your first workout.

Fall 2023 Tryout Information

Dates: Players need to attend all dates

• July 31-August 3 (3:30-5:30pm)
• It is best to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you have turned in everything you need to start tryouts.  We start our warm ups at 3:30.

Place: South County Middle School Soccer Turf Field

You must have the following completed:
1) VHSL Physical emailed to ATC, Chris Worrell at
2) Email Coach Nham (tnham@fcps.edu)a copy of your Emergency Care Form.
3) Complete the Concussion Education.  Must be completed by the athlete and one parent.  
4) Register for tryouts here: Tryout Registration

You will need to bring the following with you:

• Stick (we have extras if you do not have one yet)
• Sneakers
• Cleats
• Mouth guards
• Shinguards
• at least 32 ounces of water
