West Springfield High School Rifle Team
The West Springfield High School (WSHS) Rifle Team is a co-ed Varsity Winter Sport that competes against other area high school teams from November to February. Our team members also participate in year-round competitive shooting events, including the Junior Olympics, Olympics, National Matches, and NCAA scholarship opportunities.
We shoot Olympic Style 10 Meter Air Rifle. Here is the most recent final from the 2024 Paris Olympics as a sample of what precision air rifle competition looks like.
